Each section has limited verses and coomprises one particular idea or theme. For convenience of those who want to read the Bhagavad Gita on weeky basis, it has been divided into 52 sections. However, a glossary is given after the main text to explain the meaning of nonEnglish words. Most of the Sanskrit/Hindi words have been trasnlated into plain English. Now, an attempt has been made to translate it into English. The simplified Hindi Bhagavad Gita was translated into Spanish and has been published in several editions. All the ideas of the original Sanskrit text were kept intact in this verse by verse poetic rendering of the Bhagavad Gita but the complexities such as the multiplicity of names to identify Lord Krishna and Arjun was avoided. The Hindi Bhagavad Gita was translated into Hindi poetic form and became very popular due to its musical flow and simple language.

Bhagavad Gita contains only 701 verses that constitute the essence of profound knowledge given by Lord Krishna to Arjun at the time of battle between the Paandavas and the Kauravas.
